Love the pizza there. I enjoy going there for lunch with my fellow coworkers for a slice of pizza and or some wings hot sandwiches and other items.

Conveniently located next to the USC Hotel, this place has a good crust and satisfied my pizza craving. $20 for a large pizza half pepperoni olive, half "combo". Clean place. Not crowded (school not in session yet). Quality food!

Rosso Oro's isn't impressive but it isn't all that bad either. It's usually crowded on game days with people spilling out into the parking lot and sitting along the sidewalk.
Tip: If you want better tasting food, go on the Monday after a game day.
The New York-style thin crust pizza is mediocre but the price per slice is surprisingly a good value:
+ By the Slice: $2.50 - $3 depending on toppings
+ Special: $6.75 for a cheese or pepperoni slice, house salad & fountain drink
+ 18" Specialty Pie: $14 - $18 depending on toppings
At USC, you really can't go wrong with anything named after the iconic statue of Tommy Trojan. However, the Tommy Trojan 18" Specialty Pie was a bit disappointing.
Tommy Trojan 18" Specialty Pie
+ Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Bacon, Ham, Grilled Chicken, Red Onion, Mushroom and Peppers: all these toppings were good
- Grilled Steak: pieces were too dry and lacked flavor
+ Crust: moderately thin and foldable; not flappy beneath toppings
+ Wide Slice: topping to crust ratio is about right
- Outer Edge: too tough to chew but good support for folded pizza slice
- Cheese: needs way more cheese!!
The loaded slice (mozzarella, pepperoni, sweet peppers, onions, sausage, mushrooms) for $3 is comparable to the Tommy Trojan Specialty Pie (only available as a 18" Specialty Pie).
A generous sprinkle of dried red chili pepper flakes and Parmesan cheese will transform your $3 slice into a somewhat tasty and inexpensive meal. -

Great pizza at a great price. Our server, Maria, provided great customer service! Will definitely be returning!

The daily special is a great price for what you get. $6.75 for a slice of pizza, a very generous size salad and a drink. You can't beat that anywhere else in L.A. I'm typically not a fan for pizza, but the caprese pizza was delicious! Service was great, food was on point and the establishment is clean and tidy. Check it out if your in the area.
